Part-Time Bookkeeper / Data Entry Clerk – Automotive Dealership

Mission Automotive is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper / Data Entry Clerk to join our team. Reporting directly to the Manager, this role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, with an emphasis on reconciliations, data entry, and month-end support.

This position is ideal for someone experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurate data entry of financial transactions
- Posting bank deposits and processing credit card payments
- Reconciling point-of-sale (POS) systems with accounting records
- Performing bank and account reconciliations
- Organizing and filing month-end reconciliation reports
- Following up with suppliers to correct invoicing discrepancies
- Assisting with basic administrative duties as required

Accounting Duties

- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Payroll support (as needed)
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Month-end reporting and supporting documentation
- Preparing and remitting GST, PST, and WorkSafe
- Maintaining the General Ledger

Job Requirements





- Strong data entry and reconciliation skills with high accuracy
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Strong Microsoft Outlook & Excel skills
- Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
