Boutique Inn Housekeeper

Pay: $20–$23 per hour, based on experience

About the Position A private boutique inn in the Collingwood and Blue Mountains area is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented housekeeper.

Because we are a small, independently operated property, every detail matters. We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating exceptionally clean, comfortable and beautifully presented guest spaces.

The ideal candidate works efficiently without sacrificing quality, notices the little things and understands the importance of consistency in hospitality.

Responsibilities

- Clean and prepare guest rooms between stays
- Make beds and ensure linens, pillows and furnishings are presented beautifully
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms and guest wellness areas
- Dust, vacuum and mop guest rooms and common areas
- Clean kitchenettes, appliances, glassware and guest amenities
- Restock towels, toiletries, coffee and other in-room supplies
- Complete laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding and organizing linens
- Clean and maintain shared guest areas
- Perform scheduled deep-cleaning tasks
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, damage or missing items
- Follow room checklists and consistently maintain the property’s presentation standards




- Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, residential cleaning or hospitality experience is preferred
- Robust attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Able to complete rooms efficiently while maintaining a high standard
- Organized and comfortable following checklists and established procedures
- Physically able to lift, bend, reach and remain active throughout a shift
- Comfortable working with cleaning products and equipment
- Available for daytime shifts, including some weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation is required due to the property’s rural location

Training will be provided for the right candidate. More than anything, we are looking for someone trustworthy, consistent and proud of their work.
