LocationCalgaryJob DescriptionAs an Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing your market by participating in all phases of the sales life cycle. This role will focus on growing sales opportunities for all Microsoft 3‑cloud products, including Business Application solutions (Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 (ERP and CRM), Power Platform, Customer Insights) and Microsoft Azure solutions (Data and Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, Modern Solutions). The successful candidate will be a self‑motivated individual who can work under dynamic conditions and foster productive relationships with a diverse customer and partner group (primarily Microsoft customer‑facing teams).ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage the sales cycles from lead capture to sales closureMake cold calls when appropriate, perform account‑based marketing activities and follow up on leads generated from marketing and networkingDevelop strategic account, territory and opportunity plansEstablish and build deep relationships with Microsoft account teams to identify, qualify, co‑sell and manage leads and opportunities and to sell jointly into accounts in a collaborative mannerLead all sales efforts and manage communication and collaboration with team members including pre‑sales engineers, industry directors and leadership throughout the sales cycleCollaborate with pre‑sales engineers, industry directors and leadership, lead all sales efforts and manage communication effectively throughout the entire sales cycle and demonstrate leadership throughoutSupport all marketing team activities, including communication of and participation in webinars,



and both virtual and in‑person eventsBuild and maintain relationships in target accounts with C‑level and VP business and IT leadershipQualificationsPost‑secondary degree/diploma in Business, Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience7+ years of experience selling strategic technology business applications and solutions; Microsoft experience a plusPrior successful sales experience selling technical services that leverage both on‑premise and cloud‑based technologiesPreference for candidates who have sold services leveraging the Microsoft stack including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and/or Azure, SQL, Machine Learning, IoT, and Modern SolutionsStrong and established relationships with Microsoft customer‑facing account teamsStrong written and presentation communication skillsExperience working with third‑party vendors and partnersAbility to thrive in a agile and entrepreneurial environment and work with a teamCompensationBase Salary Pay Range*:Account ExecutiveCAD $97,500 – CAD $147,500Senior Account ExecutiveCAD $120,000 – CAD $160,000The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation.
