Please note that the minimum qualifications are a requirement.Under the direction of the Director of Dietary and the Cook, the Dietary Aide will follow established policies, procedures and standards, assist in the preparation and service of food for the residents, including less complex meal preparation for the Home and clean the production area and equipment.Completes tasks outlined day to day in the preparation of meals and meal delivery to residents at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Dietary Aide supports the preparation of nourishments and delivery to resident areas at a minimum of three times a day.ResponsibilitiesServe food to residents according to individual diets and preferences.Observe time limits for meal serving.Maintain foods at proper serving temperature.Assist cooks to clean and prepare uncooked food such as salads, vegetables and fruits, following basic instructions in preparing simple foods such as breakfast items, basic desserts and garnishes.Clear plates and trays,
load and operate dishwasher.Adhere to established departmental policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, QI/RM, fire safety, setting and infection prevention and control.Assemble nourishment carts.Cooperate with other departments to meet resident needs.Ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with MOHLTC LTC Quality Inspection Program, FLTCA 2021 and Earls Court Village guidelines, including quality assurance, CQI/RM (temperature, taste, etc.).Minimum QualificationsFormal:Must have completed Food Service Worker certificate program or be enrolled in the course or completed a related program.Must have Public Health Safe Food Handlers Certificate.Minimum of 1 year experience in Long Term Care is preferred.Pay: From $22.65 per hour.Work Location: In person.#J-18808-Ljbffr
