Our client is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to manage and contribute to municipal infrastructure projects within Kimberley . Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and manage municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water reticulation, and sewer networks.
- Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, and tender documents for public works.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with municipal officials, contractors, and community representatives.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant municipal bylaws, national standards, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in municipal or public works infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software.
- Strong knowledge of South African municipal standards and regulations.
- Experience in managing public tenders and contracts is advantageous.
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist.
