Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales management, customer service, and staff performance.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high levels of engagement and productivity.
- Manage payroll, cash handling, and bookkeeping processes accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee merchandising strategies, product placement, pricing adjustments, and inventory purchasing to maximize sales.
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative setting.
- Monitor store budgets, control expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in retail management or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers and staff.




- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and prioritization.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and retail sales operations.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management.
- Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing techniques, and sales management.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting accurately.
- Exceptional communication skills paired with phone etiquette and customer service expertise.

We have 2 Cannabis Jacks locations, 1881 Cassells in North Bay and 30 Bay St. in Callander. Ideally looking for someone who can work at both stores if opportunity presents itself. North Bay location will be the primary location. Hours are 9am - 11pm in North Bay and 9am - 9pm in Callander. Must be able to work within all hours of operation. Weekends are a must! Mornings, days, evenings, nights ,weekends and holiday shifts availability are an asset. Must be 19 years of age to be employed.

Cannsell certification required. Criminal record check required.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 30.0 per week
