About the role

You keep the kitchen and dining room running clean and stocked. It's a physical, rapid-paced job that switches between the dish pit and the floor depending on where you're needed.

What you'll do

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans by machine and by hand
- Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle, keep detergent and cleaning supplies stocked, and report any equipment problems to the Manager immediately
- Put clean tableware away and keep enough clean stock available for the dining room and kitchen
- Handle tableware carefully to limit breakage and loss
- Clear and wipe down tables, chairs and booths between guests, and clean the floor under and around them
- Bring soiled tableware to the dish area, then sort and stack it for washing
- Clean up spills and broken dishes promptly
- Keep kitchen work areas, prep areas, equipment and utensils clean and orderly
- Sweep and mop floors; clean and polish counters, shelves and equipment in service areas
- Check assigned restrooms on a set schedule throughout the shift,



and clean and sanitize as needed between checks
- Record each restroom check on the cleaning log, including time and initials
- Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas and clean garbage cans
- Receive, store and rotate supplies; move stock between storage and work areas
- Restock serving stations, condiments, beverage and ice dispensers
- Respond to guest requests politely and pass them to the right team member
- Help teammates and cover other roles as needed to keep service moving

- Food Handler Certification an asset
- No experience necessary — we'll train you

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $18.50 per hour
