driving performance and contract compliance while strategically resolving complex claims and commercial disputes to protect organizational value and operational integrity Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives What You Bring to the Role: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field from a recognized university Minimum of 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in sourcing and contracting experience within the energy sector or a related industry Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts up to $50 MM, with robust knowledge of contract law and industry regulations applicable to the Canadian energy market Bold, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to challenge the status quo, identify opportunities, and drive innovative, value-focused sourcing solutions Ability to analyze macroeconomic market trends – including commodity price volatility, inflation, currency fluctuations and suppler financial health – and translate insights into strategic, value-driven actions Experience managing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program, establishing KPIs, driving performance, identifying continuous improvement initiatives, and unlocking value opportunities Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) are considered an asset What We Offer: Competitive salary, stock options, company matched stock savings plan, annual bonuses May be eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Policy 100% Employer paid extended Health, Dental and Vision Benefits Health & Wellness Spending
