Café Team Member

Cafe Vasanti is looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized team member to help with the day-to-day operations of our café. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with customers, keeping things organized, and being part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, welcoming service.
- Operate the cash register and process customer payments accurately.
- Keep the café, counter, and customer areas clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Keep the refrigerator stocked and organized throughout the day.
- Restock snacks, drinks, and other café items as needed.
- Keep the coffee station fully stocked and ready for customers.
- Monitor inventory and let the team know when items need to be replenished.
- Assist with keeping displays and products looking clean and appealing.
- Support the chef and kitchen team with tasks when needed.
- Be willing to jump in and help wherever the team needs support.
- Follow café cleanliness, food safety, and service standards.

The Ideal Candidate The ideal person for this position is someone who notices what needs to be done without always being asked. Whether that means greeting a customer, restocking the fridge, preparing the coffee station, organizing the café, working the cash, or helping the chef, you’re someone who is ready to pitch in and keep things running smoothly. Pay: $16.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
