Rental Sales Associates perform some or all of the following duties:

· Greet customers and Inform customers about Avis cars and sell other services and advantages.

· Respond to and anticipate customer service needs and issues

Process vehicle rentals

· Advise customers on use and care of vehicle, and provide advice concerning specialized products or services

· Estimate or quote prices

· Prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts and accept cash, credit card or automatic debit payment

· Assist in display of merchandise and specialized products

· Maintain sales records for inventory control

· Operate computerized reservation system

· Aptitude to handle high-service situations in a calm and collected manner

· Monitor and perform vehicle control functions

· Complete clerical functions and other tasks as assigned

· This associate cleans and services our vehicles to Company's quality standards to make them ready for rental.

Physical ability to move in and out of vehicles

Able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, crouch, Repetitive tasks

Qualifications

· Strong customer service skills with high priority on customer satisfaction

· Minimum 2-3 years of Canadian Driving experience with a valid Driver’s License ( Class 5) (as mandated by province) and a good driving history

· Effective verbal communication skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and management

· Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions

· Ability to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays

· Positive, upbeat attitude to do the job and get along with co-workers

· Flexibility and adaptability to a changing work environment

· High work performance, standards and reliability and able to do shift work

· Grade 12, Related Customer Service courses, 6 month to 1 year experience
