We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Career Service Assistant to join our team and support students and alumni in achieving their professional goals. This role is vital in providing comprehensive career guidance, organizing engaging workshops, and facilitating effective recruiting processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong analysis abilities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Duties
- Assist students and alumni with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies through personalized coaching sessions.
- Organize and deliver engaging workshops on topics such as public speaking, networking, and career planning to enhance participants’ skills.
- Support the management of recruiting activities by coordinating interviews, tracking applicant data using PeopleSoft or Ellucian systems, and facilitating employer engagement events.
- Conduct outreach initiatives to promote career services resources across campus or community platforms.
- Analyze employment trends and feedback to improve service offerings and develop targeted programs that meet the evolving needs of job seekers.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, workshop attendance,
and recruiting activities within relevant databases.
- Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to create internship opportunities and expand employment networks.
Experience
- Proven experience in career counseling, recruiting, or related roles with robust public speaking and teaching skills.
- Familiarity with student information systems such as PeopleSoft or Ellucian for managing data related to employment placements and student records.
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret employment data, feedback surveys, and market trends for continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences through presentations and one-on-one coaching.
- Prior experience conducting interviews, facilitating recruiting events, or supporting internship programs is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of current employment practices, labor market trends, and the use of technology platforms for recruitment purposes.
- Japanese or Korean is a plus
