About Us:

Masters Remediation Services is a trusted name in restoration, specializing in water damage, mold remediation and interior amd exterior renovations. We are looking for a skilled Red Seal certified Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on structural experience and a background in framing, drywall and finishing—including the ability to remove and identify structural elements, assess support walls, recognize potential issues within an existing structure and reframe.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform framing work, including recent builds, renovations, and structural repairs.
- Identify and assess load-bearing walls and ensure structural integrity.
- Install, repair, and finish drywall, including mudding, taping, and sanding.
- Complete finishing work such as trim, baseboards, and door installations.
- Disassemble and reassemble cabinets
- Proficient at baseboard install and finishing
- Laminate and vinyl flooring installation
- Own tools
- Own vehicle

- Work closely with project managers and restoration teams to ensure quality craftsmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and work plans.




- Maintain a clean and safe job site while following industry safety standards..

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a carpenter, with skills in framing, drywall, and finishing.
- Strong understanding of structural integrity and load-bearing assessments.
- Proficiency in using power tools and framing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Red Seal Certification or equivalent experience is an asset.
