Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage time, and demonstrate product knowledge will contribute to a positive shopping experience and drive sales.

Bilingual skills and experience in retail or technical sales are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base and promote our product offerings.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in person and over the phone
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns
- Conduct product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain merchandising displays and ensure products are well-organized and stocked
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, especially in technology or electronics sales
- Manage customer transactions efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette




- Assist with inventory management and organize merchandise according to store standards
- Handle customer complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Support team members with various store operations as needed, demonstrating organizational skills

Experience

- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., bilingual in English and another language) are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills required
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, or technical sales is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational skills essential for success in this role
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy at all times

Job Types: Part time, Permanent Pay: $17.60 per hour
