Provide essential home support as a casual Home Support Worker in Powell River/qathet Regional District. This role focuses on personal care and wellness for clients in the community. We are seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis.

You will have the chance to implement personal care and support activities while respecting confidentiality and adhering to Tla’amin policies. The role involves collaborating with clients and the interdisciplinary team to enhance their social and spiritual well-being. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement home support and personal care for clients
- Assist clients with activities of daily living
- Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and client information
- Act as a liaison for the Home & Community Care program
- Transport and assist clients according to care plans Requirements:
- Graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program
- Registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- CPR-C and current Food Safe certification
- Acceptable criminal record check
