Full Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Vaughan, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and a range of heavy equipment to support safe and efficient operations.This is a full-time, in-person role for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment, including loaders, skid steers/Bobcats, backhoes, and trucks.Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.Complete repairs and modifications using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as required.Operate heavy equipment as needed for testing, inspection,



or repair verification.Maintain accurate records of repairs completed and parts used.Work collaboratively with team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company standards.QualificationsMinimum5 years of experienceas a diesel mechanic.Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment, and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical documents.Experience performing electrical diagnostics and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy parts and equipment safely.Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Able to communicate effectively in English with team members and supervisors.Welding experience is an asset.Experience with loaders, skid steers/Bobcats, backhoes, and trucks is required.AccommodationAccommodation is available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.BenefitsJob Type: Full-timePay: $40.00-$45.00 per hourDental careExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingVision care#J-18808-Ljbffr
