We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable Level II Certified Dental Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced dental practice. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality clinical support.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Level II Dental Assistant certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of Paradigm dental software is an asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, skilled, and dedicated to excellent patient care
- Training will be provided

Days and hours required:

- Mondays: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesdays: 8:30AM - 6:00 PM
- Wedensdays 8:30AM - 7:00PM
- Thursdays: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Fridays: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all instruments, materials, and equipment are clean and ready for procedures
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, restorative procedures, surgeries, and other clinical treatments
- Take, process, and mount dental radiographs (if certified)




- Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control protocols
- Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and vital signs as directed by the dentist
- Provide suctioning, instrument passing, material mixing, and other direct clinical support
- Prepare dental materials such as impression materials, cements, and bonding agents
- Take impressions or digital scans (if permitted by provincial regulations)
- Manage inventory and restock clinical supplies
- Assist with lab tasks such as pouring models, trimming, and sending lab cases
- Ensure operatories and sterilization areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Support emergency procedures when necessary
- Maintain professionalism, patient comfort, and confidentiality at all times

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
