DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW Our Associate Programs offer new graduates the opportunity to work in one of TD's many lines of business, and the chance to work on challenging projects and assignments, alongside experienced colleagues, and receive coaching and mentorship from business leaders and the Early Talent Experience team, to set you up for success in your career at TD. As an Associate, you will also have access to programming, tools and a community of support for your pursuits and interests beyond the 9-5. JOB DESCRIPTION The AI2 Business Intelligence Associate Program is an enhanced 12-month development opportunity in analytics, data and AI. The Business Intelligence Associate will perform a variety of activities, which may include: Develop and understand business drivers, definitions, and metrics to interpret findings, take-action, and provide meaningful business direction Develop and maintain specialized reporting packages and dashboards utilizing data from various systems including localized data-marts on Azure Cloud as well as other sources like: SQL Server, HOST/Mainframe Systems, Enterprise Data Warehouse(s) on DB2, and external data sources utilizing D&A; reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADLS, MS Power BI, Python, etc.) Manage the repository of all reporting assets including and not limited to development scripts and objects, documentation, etc. Adopt, implement, and effectively evolve report automation standards Validate the quality and integrity of the data included in all reporting Lead project and partner discussions to understand business requirements and associated value in support of overall business/function strategy Job Requirements
Must be graduated between May 2025and May 2027 with an Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, and/or Data Analytics or related. Strong statistical and analytical skills and interest are an asset. Experience with analyzing large data sets, drawing insights and inferences, and communicating outputs. Experience with telling a story through data visualization Strong technical knowledge and experience with one or more of: Python, SQL, MS Power BI, PySpark, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Bitbucket Technical knowledge or experience with Azure Cloud is an asset.
Must have strong leadership qualities including demonstrating initiative, establishing priorities and using strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each initiative, project or team assigned to. Must have the capability to dive into a business issue, understand the route cause and to help partners to understand how to leverage data to tell a story that will solve for the issue Additional Information
