We are seeking a caring, responsible, and organized Level 2 or Level 3 Educator to join our Before &

- After School Program. This role includes secure supervision, engaging activities, outdoor exploration, and coordination of school transportation.

Key Responsibilities

Before School (AM Program)

- Morning supervision — Welcome children and maintain a calm, structured environment.

- Healthy routines — Support breakfast, hygiene, and school readiness.

- Quiet activities — Reading, drawing, and calm morning play.

- School transition — Attendance checks and safe walk/van transition to school.

After School (PM Program)

- Safe arrival check — Confirm attendance and communicate unexpected absences.

- Healthy snack — Supervise nutritious snacks following Alberta Health guidelines.

- Homework support — Light assistance with schoolwork and reading.

- Outdoor play — Active play, nature walks, and exploration in green spaces.

- Park visits — Regular trips to nearby parks to encourage movement, nature connection, and free play.

- Planned activities — Arts, STEM, sports, and cooperative games.

Transportation Duties





- Transportation coordination — Organize pick‑up/drop‑off lists, schedules, and communication with schools.

- Van driving — Candidates with a Class 4 licence are strongly preferred for driving the program van.

- Transit safety — Ensure seatbelts, headcounts, safe loading/unloading, and clear communication.

- Compliance

- Licensing compliance — Follow Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations.

- Incident reporting — Document accidents and behavioral incidents.

- Emergency procedures — Evacuation, first aid, and safety protocols.

- Daily cleaning — Maintain clean, organized, safe environments.

Requirements

- Level 2 or Level 3 certification (mandatory).

- Valid First Aid &
- CPR.

- Experience with school‑age programs is an asset.

- Class 4 licence preferred for van driving.

- English required

- Spanish is an asset.

Pay: $23.00-$29.50 per hour
