Simmons Transport is division of Catalyst, we are a heavy haul trucking company serving the Lower Mainland. We're looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to run our lowbed, moving heavy equipment between job sites.
What you'll be doing: hauling excavators, dozers, and rock trucks on lowbed and step deck; loading, securing, and unloading safely; running local Lower Mainland routes with the occasional longer trip; pre and post trip inspections and keeping your logs clean; working directly with site crews on load and drop coordination.
What we're looking for:
valid Class 1 licence with air brake endorsement; 7 years or more driving experience with minimum 3 years on lowbed; solid load securement knowledge and a clean abstract; comfortable manoeuvring oversize loads in tight job sites; safety tickets an asset.
