We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Class 5 Driving Instructor to inspire and guide aspiring drivers through their journey to safe and confident driving. Duties
- Conduct engaging and informative driving lessons for students preparing for their Class 5 driver’s license
- Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level and learning pace
- Provide clear instructions on vehicle operation, traffic laws, safety procedures, and defensive driving techniques
- Assess student progress regularly and offer constructive feedback to improve their driving skills
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, student performance, and progress reports
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that builds student confidence and motivation
- Stay updated on current traffic regulations, licensing requirements, and best teaching practices
- Take pride in keeping company car clean inside and out
Qualifications
- Valid Class 4 & 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Valid Alberta Driving Instructor License
- 3 years experience
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback
- Strong classroom experience or ability to create engaging learning experiences
- Demonstrated ability to motivate students and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and defensive driving techniques
- Ability to maintain professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm throughout lessons
