- Shift: Morning Shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Morning Shift

Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned classrooms, offices, washrooms, common areas, and other designated areas.
- Vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, and disinfect surfaces.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins.
- Refill paper products and other washroom supplies.
- Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and presentable.
- Follow NewGen Cleaning Services' cleaning standards and procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to the supervisor.




- Complete assigned cleaning duties within the scheduled shift.
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with VIU staff, students, and visitors.

Qualifications
- Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience is an asset.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be dependable and committed to maintaining high cleaning standards.
