We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychologist/Provisional Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children, adolescents and/or families and couples. This role involves assessing and treating a variety of psychological issues while providing support and guidance to clients and their families. The Psychologist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
Hours
10-15 Hours per week. Flexible
Duties
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for children, adolescents, and families.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide therapy and counseling services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Continuing Education as per licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's level degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Psychologist/Provisional Psychologist in Alberta.
- Experience working with children, youth, and couples/families.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
- Previous experience 2+ years in clinical or non profit setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for case management documentation.
