This is a highly impactful role where you’ll play a key part in safeguarding business operations, improving cybersecurity resilience, and driving security best practices across the organization.Who You AreYou are a proactive cybersecurity professional who enjoys identifying risks before they become problems.You’re equally comfortable investigating security incidents, hardening infrastructure, and collaborating with technical teams to improve overall security posture.You bring strong networking and infrastructure knowledge, understand up-to-date cybersecurity threats, and enjoy working in environments where you can make a visible impact.You thrive in fast‑paced environments, take ownership of security initiatives, and continuously look for ways to strengthen systems and processes.Work TypeLocation:Richmond Hill, Ontario (Fully On‑Site – 5 days a week in office)Vacancy Type: This is a newly created positionThis position requires on‑site work with occasional after‑hours support for security incidents, upgrades, patching activities, and emergency response situationsWhat You’ll DoMonitor enterprise systems, network traffic, cloud infrastructure, and endpoints for threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activityLead cybersecurity incident investigations, containment, remediation, and recovery effortsPerform root cause analysis and recommend preventative measures following security incidentsDevelop and enhance incident response procedures, escalation processes, and security controlsSecure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, VLANs, wireless networks, and internet‑facing servicesManage firewall policies, network segmentation, IDS/IPS solutions, secure remote access, and access controlsConfigure and maintain security controls across corporate offices, cloud environments, and retail locationsPerform vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, security audits,
and remediation planningImplement infrastructure hardening and security best practices across servers, databases, cloud workloads, and network devicesManage system patching, firmware updates, certificate renewals, and security configuration baselinesSupport identity and access management initiatives, including MFA and least‑privilege access modelsEnsure the security of Linux‑based environments, virtualization platforms, and cloud‑hosted infrastructureMonitor and secure enterprise email systems, DNS services, web servers, authentication services, and certificatesSupport backup validation, disaster recovery planning, ransomware prevention, and business continuity initiativesParticipate in security reviews, compliance activities, audits, and cybersecurity assessmentsMaintain technical documentation, security standards, incident logs, and operational proceduresRecommend and implement improvements to strengthen the organization’s overall security postureWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity operations, infrastructure security, or systems security rolesStrong hands‑on experience securing enterprise network environmentsDeep knowledge of Linux administration from a security perspective (CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar)Experience securing Azure cloud environments, including identity and access managementHands‑on experience with Kubernetes security, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, SMTP, LDAPS, VPNs, VLANs, and firewall technologiesExperience administering enterprise network equipment such as Cisco Meraki, Unifi, or similar platformsExperience with vulnerability management, endpoint protection, infrastructure monitoring, and security remediationStrong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, access control, system hardening,
