We are seeking an experiencedCNC Milling Setup Machinistto join a high-precision manufacturing operation supporting theaerospace, defense, and semiconductor industries. This position will focus on setting up and machiningcomplex, tight-tolerance components in a highly technical, high-mix manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a strong CNC milling or lathe foundation, can independently perform setups, and is comfortable troubleshooting and making adjustments at the machine.

Compensation - $30-$50/hr

- Based on generous assessment of experience and technical capabilities.
- Additional flexibility is available for highly experienced machinists. 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday - Four 10-hour shifts
- Fridays off
- Overtime opportunities available Responsibilities:
- Perform complete setups onCNC milling machines for complex precision components.
- Set tooling, fixtures, workholding, offsets, and work coordinates.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings,GD&T;, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Prove out jobs and make necessary adjustments at the machine.
- Troubleshoot tooling, workholding, dimensional, and machining issues.
- MakeG-code, tool, and offset adjustments as necessary.
- Perform in-process inspection using micrometers,



indicators, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet customer and engineering requirements.
- Work closely with CNC programmers, engineering, and quality to improve machining processes.
- Support both new and established jobs in ahigh-mix precision manufacturing setting.
- CNC milling setup experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience with3-axis, 4-axis, and/or 5-axis CNC milling.
- Strong blueprint reading and dimensional inspection skills.
- Experience machiningcomplex, tight-tolerance components.
- Working knowledge ofG-code and CNC program adjustments.
- Experience with Matsuura, Yasda, Makino, Feeler, Fanuc, or similar equipment is a plus.
- Mastercam experience is a plus.
- Aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical, or otherhigh-precision machining experience strongly preferred.
