Overview

We are seeking a CNC operator/programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency in CNC programming, and experience operating various machining equipment. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines to produce precision components.

Candidates should possess solid knowledge of blueprint reading, CAD/CAM software like SolidWorks, Fusion360 and be familiar with Fanuc controls. Attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work with hand tools and power tools are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC machinery including CNC lathes and milling machines using Fanuc controls
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to produce accurate parts
- Program CNC machines utilizing CNC programming skills and CAM software such as Fusion 360
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to ensure parts meet specifications
- Select and use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for machining tasks
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)



and safe handling of materials
- Assist in assembly processes when required and support lean manufacturing initiatives
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

- Proven experience working with CNC machinery, including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines
- Robust mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining processes and tooling
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages and familiarity with Fanuc controls
- Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and using CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or other CAD programs
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control purposes
- Hands-on experience with calipers, hand tools, power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and assembly operations
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments involving machining or metalworking is preferred

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
