SUMMARY
Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the role involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop. PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
Make field service calls to repair. Work on call rotation shifts for winter operations support. Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain construction, aggregate and asphalt equipment on site and within the shop. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience in construction, paving & aggregates equipment is needed. 421A Certification. Must have own tools. Mobile field service experience is an asset. Willing to work on equipment, trucks and small engines as required. A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract. Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components. Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources. Superb communication and interpersonal skill. Robust ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities. Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges. WHAT WE OFFER
Expected Base Salary: $38.87 - $48.83 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations. DISCLAIMERS
