In this role, you will collaborate with a Licensed Practical Nurse, utilizing your skills to offer thorough and safe personal care. Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, feeding, and ensuring that residents are comfortable and engaged in activities. Key Responsibilities: • Assist residents in bathing and personal grooming • Help with safe transfers to and from beds or chairs • Support meal times with feeding assistance • Deliver routine treatments and care as needed • Accompany residents to therapies and social events
Requirements: • Preferred one year of continuing care experience • Completion of recognized PCA/HCA Certificate Course • Fluent in English with strong communication skills • Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses • Post-secondary education is welcome
