Mier Temporary Staffing is hiring!Job Title:Quality Lab Technician (Day & Afternoon Shifts)Location:Peel Region, ONJob Type:Temporary to PermanentSalary:$22.00–$23.00/hour (Based on Experience)Day Shift: 7:00 a.M. – 3:30 p.M.Afternoon Shift: 3:00 p.M. – 11:30 p.M.Our client is currently seekingQuality Lab Technicians .Roles & ResponsibilitiesExecute laboratory testing and verification activities to support product quality and complianceConduct assessments on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished productsAssemble and prepare samples in accordance with defined laboratory proceduresDraft, revise, and maintain laboratory documentation, including procedures and work guidesTrain and assist quality personnel and production inspectors as requiredUtilize precision measurement and testing equipment to validate product specificationsPerform measurement accuracy studies to ensure reliability of inspection resultsRecord, interpret, and trend testing data using Excel and statistical analysis toolsGenerate technical reports and certification documentationMaintain laboratory instruments, calibration status,



and supply inventoryProvide ongoing support to quality assurance and manufacturing teamsHealth, Safety & ComplianceFollow and promote all workplace safety practices and regulatory requirementsContribute to a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environmentQualificationsDiploma in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands‑on quality experienceStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to collaborate effectively in a team‑based manufacturing settingWorking knowledge of measurement systems (Metric and Imperial)Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferredExperience with statistical software (e.G., Minitab) or ERP systems (SAP) is an assetExposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma) considered an advantagePhysically capable of performing hands‑on testing tasks, including lifting and use of powered toolsIf you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume.
