An eligibility list may be created for similar positions and will remain in effect for 12 months.ResponsibilitiesProvide oversight and guidance in the development and management of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with administrative, financial, and procurement standards within the Strategic Policy and Continuous Improvement branch. Act as departmental coordinator for a wide range of administrative functions including fleet, parking, records, accessibility, safety, and corporate services, serving as a liaison across divisions and exercising strong leadership, communication, judgment, and political acumen.Plan and administer the annual licensing process for the Consumer Protection Office, including fee collection, application processing, compliance review, and revenue deposits under multiple bereavement‑related acts. Maintain accurate licensing records, coordinate responses to inquiries, manage information systems and website updates, interpret legislation, conduct research,
support policy and legislative reviews, coordinate hearings, and communicate efficiently with industry, the public, and internal stakeholders.QualificationsEssentials:Post‑secondary education in business or office administration or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.Experience leading staff including training and prioritizing/monitoring team members’ tasks.Experience with administrative functions such as tracking correspondence, records management, and triaging inbox inquiries in an office environment.Strong data entry and research skills using online tools, journals and databases.Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, and/or policies.Solid verbal communication skills.Strong written communication skills.Experience in financial administration, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, monitoring budgets and cash flow.Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, high volumes of work, and tight deadlines within a fast‑paced and changing environment.Experience applying continuous improvement and change management practices to improve processes.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook,
