This position reports directly to the Vice President, General Manager and Production Manager.

Position Summary The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of parts, materials, and equipment using a Hino 195D, supporting the company's day-to-day shipping and receiving needs. When not on the road, this role assists with general production and shop needs as required.

This is a hands-on role requiring reliability, safe driving habits, and a willingness to help wherever needed around the shop.

Duties & Responsibilities

Driving and Deliveries

· Safely operate a Hino 195D to pick up and deliver parts, materials, and equipment to and from customers, suppliers, and other locations as required.

· Plan routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

· Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues.

· Ensure loads are properly secured and handled to prevent damage.

· Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and all required documentation accurately.

General Shop Support

· Assist with general production and shop needs when not completing deliveries.

· Support material handling, moving parts,



and general labour tasks as directed by supervisors.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

· Safety & Compliance

· Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies and procedures.

· Follow all health and safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.

· Report any safety hazards, near misses, or vehicle issues promptly.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

· Valid Ontario G licence in good standing is required.

· Clean driving record with a valid driver’s abstract.

· Forklift Experience

· Comfortable performing general labour tasks and assisting in the shop when not driving.

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to lift and move materials weighing between 25 and 50 lbs, as required.

· Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

· Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

· Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours as required to support delivery schedules and production needs.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
