Motorola Solution 's Video Division designs, develops, and manufactures advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions that help change the way people interact with their security systems.Motorola Solutions adheres to principles of diversity, equity and inclusion and is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruiting experience for candidates with disabilities.ResponsibilitiesImage quality testing and analysis of new video camera designsDevelop objective and subjective image quality testing of video camerasDesign and implement test automation of existing image quality testsApply engineering principles to design imaging algorithms to improve video image qualityCollaborate with optical, mechanical, electrical,
and firmware teams to perform image quality tests and analyses, automating test procedures, and identifying root causes of camera design defectsQualificationsEngineering Physics, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalentStrong image/video photography skillsExperience and proficiency in PythonExperience with version control software (git)Comfortable with Linux command line interfaceDetail oriented and well organized with excellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred SkillsSolid understanding of subjective/objective image quality evaluationKnowledge of ISP and 3A architectureKnowledge of CMOS image sensor and lens technologyKnowledge of image/video codingExperience with C/C++"Get it done" attitudeCompensation & BenefitsTarget Base Salary Range: 38,000 - 63,000 CADPay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
