Synergy Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Carpenter to join our team. We work on a variety of commercial, civil, infrastructure, and development projects throughout Saskatchewan and are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of carpentry duties on commercial and other construction projects
- Construct, install, and repair framing, blocking, doors, hardware, finishes, and other building components
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layout information
- Assist with site layout, material installation, and general construction activities
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Collaborate with supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades to complete projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Travel to project sites as required
- Perform other construction-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Carpenter, registered apprentice, or equivalent construction experience
- Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and job site practices
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation (G endorsement a bonus)
- Physically capable of performing construction work in varying weather conditions
Assets The following qualifications and experience will be considered an asset:
- Commercial construction experience
- Concrete formwork, placement, or finishing experience
- Experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers or telehandlers
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Fall Protection, Confined Space, or other safety certifications
