Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Construction Electrician to join our team and contribute to exciting building projects. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and technical specifications. Your expertise will help bring construction visions to life through accurate electrical work, supporting the successful completion of diverse renovation and new-build projects.

Duties

- Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, specifications, and applicable electrical codes to determine installation requirements.
- Install and route electrical wiring and cables through conduits, walls, floors, ceilings, and other designated pathways.
- Install conduit supports, brackets, hangers, junction boxes, and other hardware required for electrical installations.
- Install, replace, maintain, and repair lighting fixtures, switches, receptacles, relays, circuit breakers, electrical panels, and distribution equipment.
- Splice, terminate, and connect wires and cables to fixtures, devices, and electrical components to complete electrical circuits.
- Use electrical testing equipment to check continuity, identify issues, and verify the safe and proper operation of electrical systems.




- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electronic systems, identify faults, and repair or replace defective components.
- Install and connect electrical power to communication and audio-visual systems, signaling equipment, and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Maintain records of electrical work, inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs, while following applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.

Experience

- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments, demonstrating a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams essential for precise installation work.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, along with power tools like drills and saws.
- Construction experience involving renovation projects or new builds is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices for working on active construction sites.
- Handy with general handyman skills that support troubleshooting and minor repairs during project execution.
