Job Overview

We are seeking a agile and experienced Construction Manager specialized in Commercial Steel Building projects to lead and oversee all aspects of construction from inception to completion. This position is a set term for the duration of this build - expected 3-4 months.

Duties

- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Review and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately guide project execution.
- Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating and cost control to optimize project profitability.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Coordinate with engineers and architects on schematics and site plans to ensure seamless integration of structural elements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and progress reports.




- Implement time management strategies to keep projects on schedule while addressing unforeseen challenges promptly.

Skills

- Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to steel structures.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles relevant to steel building projects and site development.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately for structural components.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering commercial projects on time.
- Effective time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suites - Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
