We are looking for a Construction Safety Coordinator to join our team.
Salary will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skills.

What You'll Do
- Help keep projects safe and make sure work follows company policies and Manitoba safety rules.
- Visit job sites regularly, including remote locations—to inspect work, identify hazards, and make sure safety issues are fixed.
- Train project teams and share clear safety information, updates, and presentations.
- Prepare the annual Manitoba COR audit and keep project safety records up to date.
- Create practical hazard assessments and emergency response plans for each project.
- Review contractor safety paperwork and make sure contractors and site security meet project requirements.
- Report incidents, help with investigations, and work with the team on next steps.
- Build good working relationships with project teams, clients, and subtrades while providing day-to-day safety support.
What You Bring
- Minimum three years' experience in a related industry with direct experience in HSE.
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification, or other OHS certifications.
- COR Auditor certification (Internal Auditor or equivalent recognized COR Auditor training) is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
- Knowledge of applicable safety legislation, and/or willingness to learn applicable OHS and environmental legislation and HSE processes.
- Capability to be discreet with sensitive and/or confidential information.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable identifying and resolving conflicts.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in the construction industry and understanding of terminology and processes, an asset.
- Experience with Site Docs is an asset.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
