The CEO will be responsible for upholding the Foundation's independence, reputation, and financial resilience, while enhancing its impact and value to the tax community. This role involves working closely with the Board of Directors and staff to execute the organization's strategy, modernize digital offerings, and advance responsible AI, cybersecurity, and data governance. The successful candidate will be a respected leader in the field of tax, with a strong background in enterprise leadership, board governance, and financial oversight. They must be credible and trusted within the tax, public sector,



professional, and volunteer communities, and demonstrate high integrity, strategic judgment, and a collaborative approach. Key responsibilities for the CEO include fostering member and volunteer engagement, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring the Foundation remains relevant in a changing professional and public policy workplace. The ideal candidate will be capable of building consensus, making timely decisions, and inspiring a professional team.
