Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste
- Support the kitchen team with basic cooking tasks and food handling procedures
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties
- Handle food safely by following hygiene standards and proper storage practices
- Contribute to serving guests efficiently, ensuring their needs are met with friendliness and professionalism
- Support meal preparation activities for both dine-in and take-out orders, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Skills
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Kitchen experience including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
