Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready and properly stored
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during meal service, including plating and garnishing dishes
- Handle food handling duties responsibly, adhering to hygiene protocols at all times
- Operate POS systems for customer orders and transactions when required
- Contribute to efficient kitchen operations by organizing supplies and assisting with inventory checks




- Support guest services by providing friendly assistance in the dining area when needed

Skills

- Prior food service experience or kitchen experience preferred, with a strong interest in hospitality
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Experience with restaurant operations, including serving, cashiering, or Micros POS systems is advantageous
- Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus for understanding guest expectations
- Barista experience or familiarity with meal preparation can enhance your contribution to the team
