We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.The Senior Corporate Communications Specialist will assist in the development of communication activities that support Hatch. We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about compelling storytelling, with creative vision and knowledge of marketing and communications best practices to engage internal and external audiences in alignment with Hatch's mission and vision. We want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesConduct interviews and research, and actively collaborate with our internal clients for the successful strategic planning and delivery of internal and external corporate communicationsCompile and interpret highly technical information, creating interesting stories that inspireDevelop compelling communications that support the global roll‐out of complex campaigns across HatchWrite for and contribute to various communications and marketing materials, such as presentations, corporate publications, event collateral,



and digital contentWrite for and contribute to Hatch's internal editorial content with daily publishing timelinesCreate, curate, and manage content for our corporate intranet and websiteCollaborate with regional Marketing leads and sector Marketing leads to communicate key initiatives in alignment with our client value propositionGenerate communications plans, strategies, and scheduling, as requiredSupport the execution of corporate events with scripting, creative direction, and event managementLiaise directly with leadership outside of the marketing department and across various disciplines, practices, and geographies to support the businessMonitor analytics in alignment with established KPIs, create reporting, and provide insight for ongoing measurement of success and improvementWorking in partnership with our creative team, collaborate for the most effective presentation of informationQualificationsA college diploma or university degree in the field of Communications, Journalism, or English with minimum of 7‐10 years of work experience in the field, with demonstrated problem‐solving abilities and communications planning expertiseExperience gathering and analyzing business requirements and highly technical information and proven ability to write compelling, precise, and relevant copy to engage clients/target audiencesCreative and critical thinking skills and usage of photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users' understandingKnowledge of Canadian Press and Chicago Manual of Style is an assetStrong organizational and time management skills and experience establishing KPIs, monitoring analytics,



and reporting on outcomesAbility to manage multiple projects and meet scheduled deadlinesExcellent attention to detail and an ability to actively listen, with proven ability to establish productive working relationships with internal stakeholdersStrong understanding of client relationship management and industry best practicesAbility to work as part of a highly collaborative team, providing insightful input and mentoring junior team membersAdaptability in a dynamic, complex, and fast paced delivery environmentCreativity and experience with a wide range of innovative communications approachesProfessional and friendly attitude with excellent customer service skillsExperience working in the construction, engineering, or technology industries is an assetStrong computer skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an assetExperience using social media as an effective communications tool is an assetPlease note this is an in‐office role five days a week.Base salary range: $83,000 - $100,000At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
