The suitable person must be positive, service oriented, and able to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Cleans and maintains all surfaces of furniture, furnishings, floors, walls and other surfaces. Moves furniture and equipment when required. Clears and cleans waste containers and sorts material for proper disposal. Cleans glass surfaces not requiring the use of scaffolds or safety devices. Cleans, disinfects and provides supplies for washrooms. Operates all manner of hand and power tools and performs routine maintenance on assigned equipment. Requests supplies and materials as required and stores for ready use. Reports furniture, fixtures and other facilities in need of repair. Maintains high standard of cleanliness, sanitation and safety and assists in maintaining security of facilities, in assigned areas.
