Infrastructure team creates long-termvalue for its fund and separate account clients by sourcing, acquiring and managinghigh-quality investments and building comprehensive infrastructure portfolios.Today the dedicated team of over 70 professionals in Toronto, London, and Sydneyinvest approximately US$9.9 billion on behalf of institutional investorsglobally.
The Role
CBRE Investment Management, Private Infrastructure has anexciting prospect for an individual to join our team to support theCorporate Accounting team. This key position will have CorporateAccounting responsibilities and the individual will work closely with a teamwho are collectively responsible for the books and records of the company aswell as financial planning and analysis. As well, the Finance & Accountingteams have CPA mentors available to sign off on CPA practical experiencereports.
Responsibilities
Working closely within the group and reporting to a Manager,your primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing accounting entries including capital calls and distributions, reconciliation and reporting
- Filing and archiving of all documents
- Anticipating administrative needs of the department and contributing to improving administrative structure, processes and procedures as needed
- Assisting with quarterly reporting administration
- Assisting the Corporate Accounting team with various cash management and period end closing tasks
- Prepare Corporate Cash, AP/AR and other cash management Journal Entries
- Review Corporate Employee Expense and Corporate Visa statements for appropriate expense allocation and recoverability
- Prepare Corporate period end close reconciliations including, but not limited to, cash, prepaids, AP, AR, other assets and liabilities
- Work on special projects as assigned
In addition to the primary responsibilities listed above,there are opportunities to perform research on potential investments andbusiness development.
Qualifications
- Currently in an undergraduate program for Business/Accounting & Finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate to advance knowledge in Excel & Word and an aptitude and interest in learning new software applications
- Demonstrated strong time management and prioritization skills; extremely well organized
- Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $50,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $50,00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
