The Opportunity

We are looking for a Customer Accounting Activation Specialist to join our growing Customer Experience team.

This role focuses on real-time customer activation. You will manage several onboardings at once, guiding companies through the Property Control platform from first setup to launch while keeping every project on track.

Standard hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (EST)

Remote-first role, with preference for candidates who can attend our office at 2 Carlton Street, Toronto once per week on designated team days.

What You'll Be Doing The Customer Accounting Activation Specialist ensures a seamless onboarding experience by guiding new customers through the Property Control platform and managing the setup process. To achieve this, the role focuses on the following key responsibilities:

- Maintain and monitor onboarding schedules across multiple customers at once, sequencing launches so every project stays on track and meets deadlines.
- Facilitate customer navigation through the Property Control platform, addressing inquiries and providing support throughout the implementation process.
- Clearly communicate the capabilities of Property Control, setting realistic expectations for customers regarding system functionalities and benefits.
- Organize and conduct weekly meetings with customers via web or phone to discuss progress, address concerns, and provide guidance.
- Effectively manage various onboarding tasks, including: Customer Data Retrieval & Review, Import and reconfiguration of Customer Accounting Data, Product Configuration, White-labelling and branding setup, Online Payment Setup, Conducting training sessions through web meetings.
- Build repeatable, standardized setups so each community is configured consistently.
- Coordinate follow-up activities with other team members to ensure a cohesive onboarding experience.
- Answer accounting questions posed by customers during the activation process in the context of the business and product.
- Assist the team with additional tasks as needed, providing support to the activation team or broader customer experience teams.
- Roadblock Resolution: Proactively identify and eliminate any obstacles that may hinder the client's ability to launch the system smoothly.
- Coordinate and align stakeholders, from property accountants and managers to executives, including those resistant to change,



to keep every launch moving and on timeline.
- Ensure a smooth experience upon completion of the onboarding process.
- Drive adoption beyond go-live, making sure companies are actively using the platform to it's fullest.
- Regularly update the CRM system with the current status of each customer's setup following each meeting and follow-up.

Required Skills and Experience

- Candidates with experience in business and/or property management accounting will be highly preferred
- Quick learner with strong interest and willingness to understand new processes and software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with accounting software like Quickbooks, Sage, Yardi, VMS, and Condo Manager is a huge asset.
- Experience with Zoom or similar platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve customer challenges effectively.
- Ability to manage dynamic project plans for large-scale clients.
- Skilled in executing multi-stage deployments while ensuring clients meet key deadlines.
- Comfortable navigating web-based platforms and learning new technologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple implementations at once without letting timelines or quality slip.
- Strong change management skills, with the ability to guide stakeholders through the shift to new software.
- Comfort handling large-scale data imports and reviews.

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with third-party software integrations (such as accounting or payment tools).
- Experience configuring or launching software across multiple accounts simultaneously.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in a customer-facing role (SaaS or tech preferred)
- 2+ years of onboarding or implementation experience (Required)
- 2 + years of accounting experience

Education

- University degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) required.

Hybrid Work If in the GTA, you will join the activation team in the office once a week, with the remaining days working from home. In-office requirements may increase in the future.
