Position Overview

Eight Ounce is seeking a part-time Customer Experience Specialist with excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Ideally, the candidate will have a background in customer service or retail. Reporting to Montana Butler, this role will align with our company goals and core values: only the best, customers are everything, and take care of each other.

The successful candidate must be available to work full time days at our Calgary office for a minimum of 3 days a week, including weekends, with the possibility of being required to work on other days depending on company needs. Training for this role will take place on weekdays (Monday through Friday) for the first two weeks.

Schedule

- 8 hour shift
- Friday to Sunday

Responsibilities: ● Answer customer inquiries via phone, email and online chat

● Assist with showroom duties and coverage as needed

● Internal support and communication on all implemented customer service processes

● Go above and beyond to offer unexpectedly great experiences to customers

● Work closely with the rest of the team to keep communication fluid

● Strive to constantly improve customer experience across the entire company

Skills and Competencies

● Minimum of 1 year of previous customer service or retail experience





● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet targets and deadlines

● Ability to work alone and in a team environment

● Dependable and reliable

● Previous coffee industry experience is a bonus, but not required

● Fluency in French would be an asset but not required.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
