Q Test Inspection Ltd. is currently seeking a CWB Level I or Level II Welding Inspector with CGSB MT Level 2 certification for a full-time position in Edmonton, Alberta.

We are looking for an experienced and dependable inspector with strong welding and magnetic particle inspection experience who is committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

What You'll Be Doing

- Perform visual welding inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, procedures, and client requirements
- Perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) as required
- Evaluate weld quality and identify and report relevant indications, deficiencies, and non-conformances
- Complete detailed inspection reports and required documentation accurately and on time
- Ensure inspection activities are performed in accordance with Q Test procedures and client specifications
- Maintain Q Test and client safety standards at all times
- Communicate inspection findings clearly with clients, supervisors, and other team members
- Perform inspection activities throughout the Edmonton area and at client sites as required

Qualifications




- Valid CWB Level I or Level II Welding Inspector certification – required
- Valid CGSB MT Level 2 certification – required
- Previous welding and NDT inspection experience
- Experience in oil & gas, construction, fabrication, or industrial inspection considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of applicable welding codes, standards, and inspection requirements
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
