analyze trends, and work closely with site leadership to implement corrective actions and continuously improve safety outcomes.Audit & Strengthen SystemsConduct and support internal audits, ensuring Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) effectiveness, compliance, and continuous enhancement.Lead Incident InvestigationsTake charge of investigations; identifying root causes, ensuring corrective actions are executed, and sharing learnings organization‑wide.Collaborate Across the BusinessWork cross‑functionally with operations, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure protected, coordinated, and compliant site activities.Maintain & Evolve Safety ProgramsUpdate policies, procedures, training, and documentation to reflect evolving regulations and operational needs.Emergency Preparedness LeadershipSupport the development and implementation of emergency response programs and coordinate with local first responders when necessary.Report & Influence Leadership DecisionsDeliver monthly/quarterly reporting with actionable insights to senior leadership and the Board.Stay Connected to OperationsTravel 25–30% to Ontario sites, building relationships, conducting audits, leading safety conversations, and ensuring boots‑on‑ground visibility.Requirements5+ years of hands‑on, “boots‑on‑the‑ground” safety leadershipin manufacturing, industrial,
