This includes achieving efficient production levels, maintaining a high level of quality, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a safe way.To do this, the Line Leader will ensure open lines of communication, manage line workers efficiently, ensure all materials are available, and operate and maintain equipment regularly. All required documentation will be completed with attention to detail while ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are maintained on each production run.Essential Job FunctionsThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties, however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.Supervise and train all general labour personnel in the assembly of displays and other packaging.Maintain and follow GMP guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.Continually observe and improve production efficiency.Reconcile feeder stock and components at the end of each shift. Discrepancies to be reported to the Production Supervisor.Foster and maintain open lines of communication.Communicate any quality issues with the quality inspectors.Attention to detail is essential to ensure high quality products are delivered to the customer.Capable to perform in a fast‑paced environment.Work regularly with computer software such as Microsoft Office/Windows.Perform other duties as assigned.Ensure and support that food safety, quality, HACCP, and GMP are always followed.Education & ExperienceHigh School or equivalent.Previous experience on packaging equipment is considered an asset.One (1)



to two (2) years of pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic packaging and machine operating experience are considered an asset but are not required.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesBasic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Ability to read production specifications.Effectively build strong teams.Must be self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Maintain a high level of trust and integrity.WMS software, Microsoft Office, SAP are all considered an asset.Proficient use of the English language (reading, writing, speaking).Physical RequirementsPrimarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting.Position may be based at Menasha Packaging site or customer location.Lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.Standing for long periods of time.Stooping, walking, and lifting on a regular basis.All Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectations.
