About Role:
We are looking for an experienced Support Data Engineer to join our team and support data operations for our clients while working from Canada. The role involves monitoring data processes/pipeline, troubleshooting issues, managing support requests, and collaborating with data and BI teams to ensure reliable and effective data operations.

- Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Familiar with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Should be extremely positive at SQL.
- Experience handling and monitoring support ticket queues and acting accordingly based on SLAs and priority.
- Ability to monitor alerts and application logs for data processing issues and troubleshooting.
- Should have experience in log reading and debugging. (Cloudwatch experience is preferred).
- Familiar with cloud-based data technologies such as AWS.
- Ability to identify the data ops automation opportunities and support development using AI based and agentic coding.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers and BI teams.
- 5+ years of experience.
Additional Requirements
- Experience with SQL, DBT and database technologies such as Redshift, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.
- Familiar with programming languages such as Python, Javascript.
- Experience with data ingestion and orchestration tools such as AWS Glu.
- Experience with Tableau server administration, including user management and permission.
- Experience working with agentic development tools.

- The annual base salary range for this position is CAD $60,000 to CAD $80,000.
