We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our energetic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be available during the day on weekdays and passionatee about providing exceptional guest services and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DAY SHIFTS IN SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 11:00am-4:00pm!!
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Manage the seating chart and assign tables based on availability and guest preferences.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about reservations and wait times.
- Support the restaurant team by helping with food service during peak hours as needed.
- Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a great team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
