We are looking for a part time Deli Clerk to join our team at Chippawa Foodland!
We are looking for a hard-working, energetic individual who works well independently and also in a team setting. If you have grocery store or deli department experience, this may be the perfect job for you. However, don’t be discouraged to apply if you don’t, we will provide full training.
This job is for 15-20 hours a week. Hours will include Evenings, Weekends and Holidays. The hired candidate will receive more hours to cover vacation time and sick days of other employees.
This is a friendly customer service position which includes slicing and serving meat and cheese to customers. This is our number one priority.
This job will include
- Serving customers by slicing meat and cheese
- Serving customers from the hot food counter, this includes lunch and dinner style items
- cooking a wide variety of foods for the hot food table
- Preparing sandwiches
- Preparing cold meals
- Preparing hot meals
- Working well independently
- Working well as part of a team setting
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation
- Properly cleaning and sanitizing the meat and cheese slicers
