Responsibilities

- Assist with the safe dismantling and removal of building components using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements
- Break down concrete, masonry, drywall, and other materials for removal or recycling
- Support carpentry tasks including framing, cabinet installation, and flooring preparation as needed




- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by disposing of debris and hazardous materials properly
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a secure work environment

Qualifications

- Prior construction experience or familiarity with demolition activities preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans clearly
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, masonry, welding, plumbing, electrical work or related trades is a plus
- Experience with drywall installation, caulking, flooring installation or tile laying is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and learning

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
